Jordan joined the RedAlert PT team in September. Here Jordan tells us a little bit about herself;
Having been active all my life, competing in swimming and athletics at a high level as a child I found myself struggling with multiple eating disorders in my mid teens. I lost touch with sport as I simply didn’t have the energy. After struggling with the ‘devil on my shoulder’ for multiple years I found a balance between eating and training and it was through working on finding a healthy relationship between fuelling my body and training hard that I managed to put my disorders behind me.
I went on to receive a B.Sc in Human Anatomy and Physiology so have a deep understanding of the human body.
I truly believe that training to be healthy and understanding how to fuel your body in the right way can help to make you not only healthier but happier as a person. I now love to train and I have found a love of food again so I make sure I can have a balance between ‘fuelling’ and enjoying myself.
I have recently been on a long maternity leave after having my first baby in March 2017 and my second in April 2018. During this time I qualified to train both pre and post natal clients. I myself have managed to get back in shape after having two babies so close together and if I can do it then so can you!
If you want to find a type of training that is effective but also fun then I’m your girl.
My aim as a PT is to help others find the healthier, happier version of themselves that I now am.
