The Baby & Buggy Exercise Club meet on a Monday (11am) and Friday afternoon (11am) at Fitness First St Albans (no gym membership required).
Baby & Buggy is open to all with young children, be they mums, dads, carers, childminders or grandparents. The focus of the sessions is to have fun and get fitter with a smile – whilst spending time with the little ones!
Parking for the gym is free for up to 2 hours in the Christopher place car park – just make sure you get a ticket from the machine and bring it into the gym for validation.
The classes, vary week on week. We do everything from Circuits based classes, to Step, Tabata, Boxercise and Weights workouts. We like to keep it varied so no one gets bored.
All exercises have progression and regression demonstrated, so no matter how fit you think are or how out of shape you feel, there is a version to suit your ability.
Sessions are run as a drop in basis and currently £7 each. If you’re joining us for your first session, please come about 5 minutes early to complete a registration/insurance form.

Baby & Buggy Exercise Club
Each session is formed of 45 minutes of general fitness and incorporates anything from step class, body pump, battle rope ‘tug-o-war’ games, to boxing, circuit training, strength work or just good old fashioned aerobic exercises.
If you’ve just had your baby, please wait until after your 6 week GP check before you join us. We are a friendly bunch and there will always be a willing pair of hands to give your baby a cuddle if they need it!
We are CRB checked and fully insured.
