“Turn Intentions into Actions” is a big claim – an optimistic strapline, a mission. Certainly it’s a great answer when people ask me what I do. It isn’t just ‘marketing speak’ though, it is one of the main reasons why I left my job in the Healthcare profession to become a personal trainer – helping people realise those intentions – not just write them off as ‘too hard’ or unachievable.
Intending to start exercising, lose weight or tackle a new challenge is one thing, actually doing it is another. As busy people, we’re more than able to create a right old selection of excuses as to why we haven’t done it – made the call, been for that run or just had another helping.
I’m not going to force you to make those changes, but if you work with me, we’ll work together to make those Intentions happen. Actions that will enable you to get to where you want to be – whether that’s fitter, thinner, winning, healthier and/or enjoying life more (or whatever else it is you want to achieve – maybe not winning the lottery…)
What is it that you’ve been intending to do in terms of your health and well-being? Have you got a key event that you’d like to aim for or is there a reason that you’re using to keep putting off making that call?
If the idea that having a personal trainer is scary or you worry that you’ll be forced to exercise in a way that you’re not comfortable with, I might just be the personal trainer for you. I’m doing what I do because I love it and my exercise programmes are created to suit you and your goals. They’re not generic, “one size fits all” because everyone is different.
If there are other reasons (underlying health conditions, bad experiences in the gym, or perhaps something else), please, just get in touch and we can work out a plan to suit you – at your pace to suit your goals. Turn Intentions into Actions, that’s what I do.
