May 9th/10th…RedAlert PT Multisport Athletes take the 1, 2, 3 at Tri force club virtual duathlon

The craziness that is the Covid19 pandemic situation means this post is coming out 2 weeks late and we are already part way into our next Virtual Race Challenge…The joys of no child care, juggling life and everything it throws at us with trying to keep on top of blogs and social media!

2 weeks ago was the first Tri-force Virtual Duathlon…

Congratulations to Emily who took the female win with some impressive splits…and was 4 place overall with just 3 men piping her to the post on times (by less than 3 mins).

Tamsyn took the 2nd step of the virtual podium by producing some excellent results despite suffering a flare up of an old injury which has had her out of training for several months now – a long way from her PB times over these distances but shows she is on the mend and on the road back again.

Allie was in 3rd female spot (8th overall), another injured athlete awaiting knee surgery and a long way from PB times but she was genuinely surprised with the times posted for this race.

Next race up – the Hertfordshire club champs……

How will RedAlert PT athletes and Tri-Force as a club fare this year….can we retain the cup from the 2019 win?

Some more action shots from the weekend….
