Congratulations to RedAlert PT multisport athlete, Emily, who came third in the Ashridge standard distance duathlon on Sunday.
Emily knocked 5 minutes off her previous Ashridge PB despite the fact that Sunday’s bike course was 10km longer than previous years. Making this an astounding achievement.
Here is what Emily said right after the event;
“Allie’s training plans, coached sessions and mock transitions certainly paid off, though getting warm kit on to beat the bracing Ashridge winds didn’t make for a speedy T1 today!”
As a coach, it is always very rewarding to see athletes smash their goals like this. Emily has worked hard to make this progress, but there is no secret to her success, she gets weekly plans and sticks them to rigidly!
Hard work, certainly pays off – congratulations Emily, you made this coach, very proud!
